Role description:
As Senior Administrator/Start Up Support Lead you will be aligned to the Start Up, Commissioning and Pre-Operations delivery team throughout the project lifecycle. You will lead a team who will carry out a range of tasks utilising the required systems and associated processes to support the Start Up Team in the successful delivery of Start Up, Commissioning and Pre-Operations activities.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of a team delivering Start Up, Commissioning, and Pre-Operations support through the project lifecycle at various locations as required.
- Oversee the Implementation and delivery of document management for Start Up, Commissioning & Pre-Operations work scope in accordance with any Quality or Legal requirements.
- Identification of resource requirements for your team.
- Planning, balancing and prioritising team resources to support successful delivery to an agreed strategy and plan in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ongoing coaching and development within the team.
- Update/maintain Commissioning tracking systems to ensure full and accurate records are kept and auditable, including TCA/FOB tracking/monitoring and Reporting and driving closure.
- Carry out audits to ensure compliance of all systems across the Start-Up Team, e.g., drawing configuration, FOBs, TCAs, CTD, etc.
- Monitor/update/maintain Training/SQEP status of Start-Up team (including Contractors), including prompting of what/when training required.
- Resource Management Support.
- Sharing LFE & Cross Project Communication.
- Inputting progress into Plant Test Schedule enabling accurate performance monitoring.
- Start-Up, Commissioning and Pre-Operations KPI reporting.
- Monitoring and Tracking of Escalations & Actions.
- Provide administration to support the completions and commissioning management system.
- Weekly/Monthly Project Reports for Commissioning Activities
- Meeting management on behalf of Start Up, Commissioning & Pre-Operations Team
- Provide support to Start Up Commissioning and Pre-Operations Governance meetings.
- Coordinate and manage team travel arrangements for offsite working.
Essentials:
- Level 3 Qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Computer literate (MS applications including Word, Excel) with evidence of document management and reporting.
- Experience of leading a team providing project support within an Engineering or Technical Environment.
- Experience of working with Quality Assurance requirements.
Desirable:
- Have nuclear sector experience, including working within large scale projects.
- Working knowledge of effective Health & Safety arrangements.
- Able to travel to on occasion and as required, to other work locations such as Risley and works test facilities.
