Opportunity:                  

The Senior Contracts Manager will be accountable for the quality, timely and technical delivery of operational projects to ensure all operations are delivered efficiently and effectively. It will involve challenging current working practices and procedures, and building a belief in best approach

The Senior Contracts Manager will form an integral part of the Wessex Water (WW) Framework Delivery Team and will use their technical expertise and experience to ensure that the most cost beneficial and sustainable solutions are promoted through the Wessex Water Investment Decision Points (IDPs). 

This role would suit an ambitious, driven individual who embraces the challenge of working within a high performing and supportive team. Experience within the civil engineering industry is essential for this role, ideally coming from a main contractor background.

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• Degree educated (or equivalent) preferably in a construction subject

• Chartered status (ICE / CIWEM or equivalent)

• Awareness of the issues and processes required by the customer

• Knowledge of all aspects of legislative compliance, including employment law, health and safety, and environment

• Awareness of future workload and commercial drivers
