As National Inclusion Week draws to a close, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is looking back at a week that was filled with enthusiasm, openness, and engagement from colleagues and teams across its business.
" It’s important to recognise that National Inclusion Week is not the end of our inclusion conversation. We’re going to keep the discussion going, challenge biases when we see them, and never stop learning or advocating for a more inclusive workplace."
Katie Smith, HR director, says: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved this week and the amazing attitude of our people. Everyone has gotten involved and played a part, and it was great to see so many inclusion allies facilitating the conversations. Throughout the week, we saw colleagues come together to share their honest and inspirational inclusion stories, listen, and learn from one another. Others shared initiatives and ideas to make our day-to-day workplace better for everyone. We also launched our new inclusion reporting platform, new training and guidance, and held inclusion discussions that provided insightful and challenging questions for us to address.
“It’s important to recognise that National Inclusion Week is not the end of our inclusion conversation. We’re going to keep the discussion going, challenge biases when we see them, and never stop learning or advocating for a more inclusive workplace. There’s so much more to look forward to in the weeks and months ahead, but the momentum created during this week will move us forward throughout the rest of 2023 and beyond.”
